Bondi Vite has revealed its latest athlete signing, with Steven Ugarkovic from the Newcastle Jets officially partnering with the Sydney-based Active Vitamin brand.
Ugarkovic – who recently notched his 100th consecutive appearance for the Jets – joins the likes of Will Harrison and Jake Gordon as a Bondi Vite Athlete.
The recent milestone set a new A-League record, as Ugarkovic solidifies his reputation as one of the league’s premier midfielders.
His work in the middle of the park sees him regularly clock above 12km each week, with the tireless midfielder renowned for his preparation, attention to detail and care for his body.
Bondi Vite have been supplying his Newcastle Jets since 2020 while also working with the NSW Waratahs, Adelaide United, GWS Giants Netball and the Western Force.
CEO, Damien Fitzpatrick said it was exciting to have Ugarkovic join the Bondi Vite team.
“Steven has an incredible reputation at the Jets but also throughout the A-League, not just for his skill and ability but his energy, durability and fitness,” Fitzpatrick said.
“To be able to play 100 professional games consecutively takes a huge amount of work behind the scenes and Steve has really adopted the use of our products since our recent partnership with the Jets.
“Steven is a great character who embodies what we’re about here at Bondi Vite and we’re really pleased to welcome him to the team.”
Ugarkovic said after using Bondi Vite products in the Jets high performance program it was an easy choice to come on board.
“I’ve always been conscious of looking after my body to get the most out of myself on the pitch, it’s been great to introduce Bondi Vite into my nutrition and hydration routine for training and games,” Ugarkovic said.
“Damien’s background as a former athlete gives me great confidence in knowing Bondi Vite has been tailored to support my workload throughout the season.
“I know the range is clean and safe thanks to the manufacturing and testing that’s in place which is so important for us as professionals.”
Bondi Vite’s Active Vitamin range is third-party batch tested by HASTA (Human and Supplement Testing Australia) so athletes can have every confidence that they’re taking safe, WADA (World Anti-Doping Authority) compliant products.
