NSW Waratahs Jake Gordon and Will Harrison have joined Bondi Vite as official athletes for 2021.
The playmaking pair join fellow Waratah, Michael Hooper in endorsing the Sydney-based Active Vitamin brand founded by Damien Fitzpatrick.
Hooper – Bondi Vite’s Global Ambassador – joined the brand in early 2020 and since that time has seen several professional teams and individual athletes join Bondi Vite.
Bondi Vite now officially supply to his NSW Waratahs, Adelaide United, GWS Giants Netball, Newcastle Jets and the Western Force.
The addition of Harrison and newly appointed skipper, Gordon is another coup for Bondi Vite, establishing itself as the preferred complementary medicine provider of elite sport in Australia.
Bondi Vite CEO, Damien Fitzpatrick was pleased to welcome on board two of the state’s premier players.
“I’ve seen first hand the commitment both Will and Jake have to their health and well-being, to have them put their name to the quality of our product means a lot,” Fitzpatrick said.
“They’re both unbelievable athletes with elite levels of fitness and they understand the way our range can help them be at their best throughout the rigours of a Super Rugby season.
“Both these guys are wonderful ambassadors for rugby but also for getting active in general, something we’re really passionate about at Bondi Vite.
“Our Active Vitamin range is third-party batch tested by HASTA [Human and Supplement Testing Australia] so Jake, Will and all our athletes can have every confidence that they’re taking safe, WADA [World Anti-Doping Authority] compliant products.”
Harrison said he was excited to work with Bondi Vite given the role its range already plays in his training regime.
“We get great advice from our strength and conditioning staff and dietitians around nutrition and I’ve felt the benefits of using Bondi Vite going back to the NSW Academy,” Harrison said.
“My understanding of the benefits [of complementary medicine] has grown with more time in a professional program and I’m loving using the Bondi Vite range at the Waratahs.
“Magnesium is hugely important for me when it comes to recovery during big training loads and taking Fish Oil is great for my joints and overall health.”
Gordon was looking forward to linking up with a former teammate as part of this partnership.
“I’ve seen Fitzy [Damien Fitzpatrick] build this business from the ground up, he’s a great man who’s passionate about providing products that support high performance,” Gordon said.
“He’s worked with some of the best in the business to create this range and we know that we can safely take Bondi Vite because of the way it’s been manufactured and tested.
“I know there’s been a lot of emphasis on the importance of this for athletes, but I think it’s also great for everyone to know that Bondi Vite is clean and really beneficial to their health.”
